Key Qualifications:

• Active state license as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families
• Knowledge of IEP/504 processes and documentation
• Compassionate, adaptable, and committed to student success
• Ability to travel between buildings if required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs
• Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure successful integration of therapy into the academic setting
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including progress notes and required reports
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations or modifications
• Educate school staff and families about safe mobility, equipment use, and strategies to support student goals
