Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Previous experience in a pediatric or educational setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt sessions to individual student needs and learning styles
• Passion for empowering students with mobility or developmental challenges
• Organizational skills for documentation and scheduling

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress
• Develop and implement therapeutic activities using evidence-based practices
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other service providers
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions
• Contribute to the creation of adaptive equipment or classroom modifications as needed
• Educate staff and families on techniques to support students throughout the school day
