Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state Physical Therapist license in Kansas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or related healthcare setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of pediatric physical therapy best practices and IEP processes
• Ability to engage effectively with students, educators, and families
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Conduct assessments to identify students strengths and needs related to gross motor skills, balance, and physical mobility
• Develop and implement customized therapy plans and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support classroom adaptation and student success
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input as a specialist
