Qualifications and Experience:
- Current active Georgia Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication skills when collaborating with staff, students, and families
- Ability to develop and adapt individualized treatment plans for diverse student needs
- Commitment to supporting students physical goals and educational plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging physical therapy services tailored to K-12 students needs
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment strategies
- Work closely with educators and other related professionals to coordinate care
- Document session notes, progress reports, and comply with all regulatory requirements
- Assist with IEP meetings, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Consult with parents and guardians regarding therapy goals and student progress
