This contract opportunity is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist specializing in school-based services, located near New Lenox, IL. The position involves providing targeted therapy to early childhood students, focusing on evaluations and treatment within a school setting. This role is designed for professionals seeking a part-time commitment with consistent weekly hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering physical therapy evaluations and interventions to a small caseload of early childhood students
- Collaborating with educational staff to develop individualized treatment plans
- Documenting student progress and maintaining compliance with school requirements
- Managing a caseload that currently includes four students with potential for growth
- Providing services onsite, requiring regular attendance for a single day each week (approximately 4 hours)
Qualifications for this position are:
- Valid Illinois Physical Therapist license required
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to work independently and manage scheduling efficiently
