This position offers an opportunity for a licensed Physical Therapist to provide specialized services within a school setting in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves working onsite across two school sites, serving students from kindergarten through eighth grade. Travel time between sites is compensated, recognizing the importance of flexibility and accessibility in supporting student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to K-8 students in accordance with individualized education and medical plans.
- Collaborate with educators, healthcare providers, and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage scheduling and travel between two school locations with paid travel time.
Qualifications:
- Current and active Florida Physical Therapist license.
- Experience in school-based physical therapy preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work onsite for 2 hours per week across multiple school locations.
