Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold an active California Physical Therapist (PT) License
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
• Organized, adaptable, and comfortable working with diverse student populations

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver school-based physical therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and district policies
• Assess and document students functional motor needs and progress
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations to optimize student access to learning environments
• Provide guidance, training, and support to educational staff as needed
