Qualifications:
- Active and valid California Physical Therapist (PT) license required
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other therapists
- Knowledge of educational therapy frameworks is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver physical therapy interventions that address mobility, gross motor skills, and functional independence
- Consult with staff and administrators to support student accommodations and modifications
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting plans as necessary
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise
- Provide guidance and education to teachers and families regarding student needs
