Required Skills & Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in California
- Experience or strong interest in pediatrics or educational settings
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and school-based therapy practices
- Ability to evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for diverse student needs
- Commitment to collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students motor skills and functional abilities, implementing targeted treatment interventions
- Develop and document treatment goals within each student's IEP framework
- Deliver direct and consultative services across a range of ages and abilities
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate records and timely report updates as required by district and regulatory guidelines
