Job Description
A Physical Therapist position is available for a per diem contract at two school sites in Huntingdon County, PA, offering an opportunity to support students during the extended school year (ESY) 2026 period.
Location: Huntingdon County, PA (two nearby school sites, approximately 15-20 minutes apart)
Schedule and Caseload:
- ESY Week 1 (6/23/267/16/26, 4 weeks):
- Serve 4 students with varied session timestwo sessions of 30 minutes each over 4 weeks, two sessions biweekly of 30 minutes, one 45-minute weekly session, and one 30-minute weekly session.
- ESY Weeks 23 (6/22/268/3/26, 6 weeks):
- Support 1 student with session times to be determined.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Physical Therapy services in person, adhering to professional standards and PDE requirements.
- Implement individualized therapy sessions according to student needs.
- Collaborate with school personnel to support student progress.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) certification applicable to school-based Physical Therapy.
- Ability to deliver services in person at school locations.
- Experience working in educational settings preferred.
This position is fully contract-based and requires in-person availability during the specified ESY dates.
