Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or clinical settings preferred

  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Knowledge of school-based therapy best practices and compliance requirements
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' physical therapy needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student success
  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students with a range of mobility and motor challenges
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and legal standards
  • Consult with staff and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school environment and promote student independence
  • Educate school personnel and families on strategies that benefit students' physical development
