Job Description
Make an impact as a Physical Therapist supporting students across multiple grade levels within a school system. This contract opportunity involves collaborating with a dedicated PT/PTA team to serve a caseload of approximately 50 students and traveling between campuses near Hope Mills, North Carolina. You'll work to ensure students receive high-quality therapy services that help them achieve their academic and functional goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist license
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Comfortable working onsite and traveling between locations as needed (mileage reimbursed)
- Early intervention experience or TPBA (Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment) training/certification is a plus, though not required
- Able to pass required fingerprinting to work with Pre-K students
Role Details:
- Extended School Year (ESY) assignment: July 8, 2026 July 30, 2026, Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am 12:30 pm
- Full-Time School Year coverage: August 13, 2026 May 28, 2027, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am 3:30 pm (35 hours/week)
- Serve students from all grade levels at multiple nearby school sites
- Mileage paid for travel between schoolsroutes will be arranged as efficiently as possible
- Provide direct therapy, participate in IEP meetings, perform evaluations, and collaborate with educators and families
