Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across multiple schools in a dynamic educational setting near Hope Mills, NC. In this role, youll deliver high-quality physical therapy services to a diverse caseload spanning all grade levels, collaborating with a skilled PT/PTA team to reach approximately 50 students. The assignment includes both Extended School Year (ESY) and full-time school-year commitmentsESY runs July 8 to July 30, 2026 (8:00 am12:30 pm, Monday through Thursday), while the 2026-2027 school year hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am3:30 pm. The number of schools may vary but will be kept in close proximity to each other, and paid mileage will support your travel.

Qualifications:

• Current Physical Therapist license
• Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with early intervention, especially with Pre-K populations (TPBA certification a plus, not required)
• Willingness to undergo fingerprinting in order to work with Pre-K students
• Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites
• Commitment to collaborative, student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage students physical therapy needs across all grade levels
• Travel between assigned schools as needed, providing direct and consultative physical therapy services
• Conduct Pre-K evaluations and support early intervention programs
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with school district and legal requirements
• Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
