Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license
- Prior experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic plans to individual student goals
- Effective communicator with students, families, and school teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide individualized physical therapy services for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to support students IEP goals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Provide consultation and training for staff and caregivers to enhance students mobility and participation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
