Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California
• Previous experience in school or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of IEP processes and compliance standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and parents
• Ability to assess and develop individualized treatment plans
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability to dynamic school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students motor needs and provide appropriate physical therapy services
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student access and participation in educational activities
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
• Offer training and resources to school staff and families to facilitate student progress
• Monitor and report on student progress, making recommendations for ongoing support
