This contract role runs from September 1, 2026, through June 14, 2027, and is located conveniently near Andover, MA. With a schedule of only one day per week, youll have the chance to focus your expertise on facilitating student growth and development without the demands of a traditional, full-time caseload.
What Were Seeking:
- Current, valid licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educational staff, families, and other therapists
- Ability to evaluate and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students unique needs
- Organizational skills for managing documentation, scheduling, and IEP participation
- Flexibility and adaptability to support diverse student abilities and changing school requirements
What Youll Do:
- Conduct assessments and develop actionable therapy plans for students with varying physical abilities
- Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy in accordance with each students IEP
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to promote students participation in school activities
- Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to team meetings as required
- Support the overall educational mission by empowering students to achieve increased independence
