Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) license required
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric, school-based, or educational Physical Therapy
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with students, faculty, and families
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to meet the individual needs of elementary and middle school students
- Commitment to fostering student growth, functional independence, and participation within the school environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled PT interventions for students with diverse needs across the elementary and middle school campuses
- Assess and document student abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with educational staff, parents, and related service providers to support student success
- Contribute to IEP meetings, progress reporting, and goal-setting
- Educate and train teachers and paraprofessionals on strategies to integrate therapy into daily routines
