Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, parents, and support staff
• Adaptability and creativity in developing individualized therapy plans

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to help students improve mobility, balance, and motor skills in the school environment
• Support teachers and staff in integrating physical therapy strategies into daily activities
• Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and comply with all school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and planning
• Educate families and staff on exercises and strategies to support student development
