Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapeutic best practices within educational environments
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to independently manage a caseload and maintain timely documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement direct therapy services that support student mobility, participation, and motor skill development
  • Collaborate with educators to adapt classroom environments and activities to promote inclusive learning
  • Conduct evaluations, write reports, and contribute to IEP meetings as a valuable member of the multidisciplinary team
  • Educate school staff and families regarding physical therapy interventions and strategies that benefit student learning and growth
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation to monitor student achievement
