Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy is required
• Active Michigan physical therapist license
• Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric therapy preferred
• Strong communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and support staff
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to serve students of all grade levels and varying needs
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for every student

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans
• Deliver direct and consultative services to students, adapting interventions for elementary, middle, and high school populations
• Document student progress and maintain detailed treatment records in compliance with district and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and staff development activities
• Provide training, resources, and support to teachers and families to carry over physical therapy strategies in the classroom and at home
• Promote safe, accessible, and positive learning environments for all students
