Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Active Arizona Physical Therapist license in good standing
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Skilled in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' physical needs and develop comprehensive intervention plans tailored to each individual's abilities and learning objectives
  • Deliver direct therapy services in various school settings, adapting activities for diverse age groups from elementary through high school
  • Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines and support students' participation in academic and extracurricular activities
  • Document assessments, therapeutic progress, and ongoing needs in accordance with school procedures and professional guidelines
  • Educate families and school staff about strategies for supporting students physical growth and mobility
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing to collaborative goal-setting and progress reviews
