Make an impact by supporting students growth and mobility in an educational environment as a contract physical therapist. Youll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement tailored treatment plans for elementary, middle, and high school students, all while shaping their progress through direct intervention and advocacy.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy is required
• Current and valid Louisiana physical therapist license
• Previous school-based or pediatric physical therapy experience is preferred
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt interventions to varied age groups and needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for students, identifying barriers to learning and participation
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators, parents, and related service providers
• Deliver targeted interventions and therapeutic activities in individual or group settings
• Document progress and contribute to IEP meetings with evidence-based recommendations
• Educate and mentor staff and families on mobility strategies, positioning, and safe equipment use
• Support the development of inclusive environments, ensuring students can participate fully in school routines
• Travel between school sites as needed to serve students across elementary, middle, and high school settings
