Your expertise will help enable students to participate fully in their education by designing tailored interventions, conducting assessments, and partnering closely with teachers and families. Required Experience and Credentials:

• Active California Physical Therapist License (PT)
• Prior experience in a school-based PT setting strongly preferred, ideally serving K-12 populations
• Knowledge of IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) and the ability to document student progress
• Strong communication skills to interact with staff, students, and parents/guardians
• Collaborative spirit and flexibility to adapt to varying student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address mobility, gross motor, and functional skills of K-12 students
• Assess students physical abilities and create effective, measurable goals in coordination with IEP teams
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, adjusting techniques for different learning styles and abilities
• Maintain accurate records, track progress, and participate in student evaluations and IEP meetings
• Educate staff and families on supportive strategies and safe equipment use within the school environment
