Job Description

This position is set for the upcoming 26/27 school year and offers the chance to work part-time, providing expert support and care within an educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona Physical Therapist (PT) license
  • IVP fingerprint clearance card
  • Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly desirable, ensuring confidence with PreK-8th grade students
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building abilities with students, teachers, and families
  • Ability to work independently and manage a consistent 20-hour-per-week schedule

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services onsite in alignment with individual student IEPs and therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress and overall well-being
  • Document assessments, goals, and progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Assist with development and implementation of classroom modifications and strategies for student success
  • Participate in meetings and offer professional input on matters related to student mobility, safety, and therapy goals
