Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
- Active Arizona physical therapist license
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable in working with diverse student populations
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple caseloads
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support each students academic and physical goals
- Deliver direct physical therapy services tailored to elementary, middle, and high school students
- Document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with education and therapy standards
- Educate staff and families about therapeutic approaches, techniques, and equipment use
- Contribute expertise to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as necessary
- Participate in ongoing professional development sessions as required
