Job Description
Make a positive impact on students lives by supporting their growth and development across elementary, middle, and high school settings as a contract physical therapist. Youll work closely with educators, families, and other professionals to provide individualized therapy, create supportive learning environments, and help students achieve their fullest potential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy
- Active Arizona physical therapist license
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for diverse student populations
- Organizational and documentation proficiency
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and develop tailored physical therapy interventions
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to integrate therapy into students' educational plans
- Deliver therapy services to students in one-on-one and group settings across elementary, middle, and high school age groups
- Maintain accurate records of progress, interventions, and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations to support student success
- Provide training and guidance to educational staff for therapy integration and student support
- Stay current with best practices and state regulations related to school-based therapy
