Step into a rewarding opportunity as a school-based Physical Therapist for the 20262027 academic year in a supportive K12 school environment near Fort Worth, TX. This contract position offers part-time hours and a focused caseload, allowing you to make a significant difference for each student you serve.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Texas Physical Therapist License
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is a plus, though not required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Comfortable working independently and handling a small group of approximately 8 students
- Skilled in collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, special educators, and family members
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy interventions to students with unique mobility or motor needs
- Conduct detailed evaluations and participate in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Serve as a resource for staff and families through consultative support and guidance
- Partner with educators and other specialists to ensure integrated service delivery
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation consistent with legal and school district standards
