Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist supporting students across multiple schools in the Fayetteville area. This specialized role offers a blend of summer ESY and full-time school year assignments, providing services to a diverse caseload of around 50 students per PT/PTA team. The position involves traveling between campuses, with efforts made to keep locations conveniently clustered and mileage reimbursement provided.

Your responsibilities will include delivering physical therapy assessments and interventions to students from Pre-K through high school, collaborating closely with other therapists and educational professionals. If you have early intervention experience or training in TPBA (Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment) for Pre-K, that knowledge will be highly valuedthough all enthusiastic, licensed PTs are welcome to apply. Please note, fingerprinting is required to work with Pre-K students.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Active Physical Therapist license
  • Experience providing pediatric/school-based physical therapy services
  • Comfort traveling between campuses (mileage reimbursement)
  • Early intervention/TPBA certification or experience a plus
  • Fingerprinting required for Pre-K caseloads

Job Details:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am 3:30pm during academic year (35 hours/week)
  • FT School Year: August 13, 2026 May 28, 2027
  • ESY: July 8 July 30, 2026, 8:00am12:30pm, MondayThursday
  • Contract opportunity with multiple campuses and varied grade levels
