Job Description

This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, working at a single school location. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group physical therapy interventions to students in grades K-12
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments and document progress in accordance with state and district guidelines
  • Adapt treatment plans to address diverse needs, ensuring accessibility and engagement for all students
  • Participate in school-based meetings and contribute expertise to support the success of every learner
  • Maintain accurate records while complying with appropriate standards and regulations
  • Embrace ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in pediatric physical therapy

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current, valid NC licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to manage a full caseload independently with excellent time-management and communication skills
  • Passion for collaborating within a team-oriented atmosphere and supporting students with diverse abilities
  • Flexibility and professionalism in adapting to school culture and procedures
