Step into a meaningful part-time contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist, supporting students during the Extended School Year (ESY) summer program. This rewarding role focuses on helping school-aged children achieve greater mobility and independence, making a real difference over a short summer session.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing targeted physical therapy services to students during ESY, June 8 to July 2.
• Delivering individualized intervention sessions, tailored to meet each students IEP goals.
• Collaborating with education staff to ensure seamless implementation of therapy strategies in the classroom.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress and attendance.
• Communicating effectively with families and teachers to support student development.

Qualifications and skills:

• Valid California Physical Therapist (PT) license is essential.
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with ESY and summer school programming is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage and motivate young learners.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within limited weekly hours (1-2 hours per week).
