Job Description

Youll be working part-time (3 days per week) and supporting one school, focusing on impactful, hands-on care.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in California
  • Previous experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators and families
  • Ability to manage caseloads and adapt interventions for individual student needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students functional mobility and motor skills within the school environment
  • Develop, implement, and document personalized physical therapy treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education staff, teachers, and parents
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations regarding students physical therapy needs
  • Monitor progress, adjusting interventions and goals as needed throughout the school year
  • Maintain thorough records in accordance with district and state guidelines
