Youll collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and families to create successful therapy plans that empower students to thrive in the classroom and beyond.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations preferred
• Understanding of IEP processes and the ability to document progress toward student goals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with school staff, parents, and students
• Collaborative approach to problem-solving and a passion for student well-being

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students therapy needs within an educational framework
• Develop individualized physical therapy interventions aligned with educational goals and IEPs
• Provide direct physical therapy services to students across various grade levels
• Work closely with teachers, occupational and speech therapists, and other staff to integrate physical therapy strategies in the classroom
• Document student progress, attend IEP meetings, and adjust therapy plans as needed
• Educate staff and families to help support therapy goals in and out of school
