Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active California Physical Therapy (PT) license required
  • Credentialed or eligible for school-based employment in California
  • Experience in school or transitional programs supporting young adults (ages 18-22) is preferred
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
  • A passion for empowering students with diverse abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy assessments and deliver direct services to students in the 18-22 youth program
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs, IEP goals, and transitional objectives
  • Consult and collaborate with special education staff, families, and service agencies
  • Maintain organized records and contribute to progress reporting and IEP meetings as needed
  • Support safe and inclusive participation in daily and vocational activities
