A full-time Physical Therapist position is available within a K-12 school district located in Elizabethtown, PA. This W2 contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential therapeutic services to students across a diverse, district-wide setting.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress and well-being
- Assess, develop, and implement customized treatment plans to enhance mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional expertise toward educational goals
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licensure applicable to school and healthcare settings
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school environments
- Strong understanding of physical therapy practices tailored to educational settings
- Ability to build effective relationships with students, staff, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
