Qualifications and Experience:

• Possession of a current Illinois Physical Therapist license
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong understanding of school PT practices, protocols, and documentation
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Commitment to fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive space for all students

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver physical therapy services in accordance with IEPs and student needs
• Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation of student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide consultative services to teachers and staff regarding student needs and accommodations
• Adapt interventions and strategies to fit individual backgrounds, abilities, and environments
• Offer guidance and support to families for continued development outside the school setting
