Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid IL Physical Therapist license required
• Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting, preferably K-12
• Solid understanding of pediatric therapy practices and the ability to adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of young learners
• Committed to providing compassionate and individualized care
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other related service personnel

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality onsite physical therapy services to K-12 students
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with educational staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom environment
• Maintain accurate records according to school policies and state regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs
• Educate students, families, and staff on mobility, self-care, and physical activity strategies
