Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Valid Illinois Physical Therapist License required
  • Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or related physical therapy settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, families, and students
  • Ability to adapt therapy programs to meet individualized education plans (IEPs) for K-12 students
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive school environment

Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting evaluations, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans for students across grade levels
  • Working closely with educational staff to integrate therapy goals within classroom and school activities
  • Monitoring progress and maintaining thorough documentation in compliance with district and regulatory standards
  • Educating and empowering families to support student success beyond the classroom
  • Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams to advocate for student needs
