Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist licensure required
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Sound knowledge of pediatric physical therapy best practices
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere for all students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop targeted therapy interventions
- Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services in classrooms and other school settings
- Document student progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
- Provide training and resources to staff and families to support student mobility and access
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and district policies
