As a valued Physical Therapist, youll work with a diverse K-12 caseload, creating and implementing individualized therapy programs that promote mobility, independence, and engagement in the school community. Youll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to help every student thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license
- Previous experience delivering PT services in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and best practices for serving students across varying age groups and abilities
- Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
- Flexibility and a compassionate, student-centered approach
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions for a caseload of K-12 students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely records in alignment with school and state guidelines
- Provide direct and consultative services, adapting as needed to meet student progress goals
