This contract opportunity offers flexibility and rewarding part-time hours (20-25 per week), allowing you to tailor your schedule while supporting students growth, independence, and participation in daily school activities.
Youll work closely with a diverse student population, collaborating with educators and families to deliver evidence-based services and develop individualized treatment plans. Your expertise will help remove barriers to learning, improve mobility, and foster confidence for students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Physical Therapist license in New Jersey (NJ PT credentials required)
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Knowledge of IEP process and school-based therapy best practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to providing inclusive, culturally responsive care
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students
- Deliver direct and consultative PT services in accordance with students IEPs
- Maintain thorough documentation of sessions, progress, and outcomes
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students educational access
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations
- Adapt interventions and strategies for various school environments
