Key Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapy license in South Carolina (SC PT License required)
- Experience providing physical therapy services to school-aged children, preferably in a K-12 setting
- Flexibility and strong organizational skills to manage an itinerant schedule across several campuses
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with interdisciplinary teams, educators, students, and families
- Commitment to ethical practice and student safety in all interventions and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students at various school locations as part of an onsite-only contract role
- Assess students motor skills and functional mobility needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Work closely with classroom teachers and Special Education staff to adapt tasks and environment for students participation
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and progress updates
- Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed
