Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Active Michigan physical therapist license
  • Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students to determine physical therapy needs to support their educational goals
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure cohesive support
  • Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed
  • Provide education to school staff and families regarding students physical therapy needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to comprehensive service planning
