Job Description

This is a contract position for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) who will work full time (35 hours per week) with schools near Eagle Lake, MN. In this rewarding role, youll collaborate with educators and families to help children access their education and reach their highest potential.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in Minnesota
  • Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to various disabilities and ages
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students physical functioning and develop individualized therapy plans to support their educational goals
  • Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions during the school week across assigned schools and age groups
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Coordinate and consult with teachers, educational staff, and families to ensure integrated support
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to IEP (Individualized Education Program) planning
