Make a meaningful impact by supporting students growth as a dedicated Physical Therapist working full-time on a W2 contract in a dynamic K-12 school environment. Youll serve students across an entire district, promoting mobility, independence, and access to educational opportunities for learners at all grade levels.
Your role brings direct, hands-on care and collaborative consultation with educators and families. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in inclusive settings, are passionate about pediatric and school-based therapy, and enjoy variety in their daily responsibilities.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapy license (required)
- Experience providing PT services in healthcare and/or school-based settings
- Knowledge of pediatric treatment techniques
- Ability to collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA)
- Comfort supporting diverse populations across K-12
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Role Highlights and Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students motor and mobility needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services district-wide
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support IEP goals
- Document progress according to district protocols
- Supervise and coordinate with PTAs as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment or classroom modifications
