A rewarding contract position is available for a Physical Therapist with school-based and pediatric expertise. You'll collaborate closely with special education staff to address IEP goals for K-12 students this academic year. Desired Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapy license for the state of Illinois
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric PT setting is highly valued
- Comfort in providing direct therapy and engaging in IEP planning and meetings
- Strong evaluative skills and ability to document and monitor student progress
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, supporting them in meeting individual IEP goals
- Participate actively in IEP meetings as a member of the interdisciplinary team
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, updating treatment plans as needed
- Maintain ongoing communication with staff and families to support student success
- Work across the K-12 student population, adjusting intervention according to age and need
