Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Illinois Physical Therapy (PT) license required
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and service teams
- Passion for fostering student growth and independence
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, treatment planning, and direct physical therapy services to students
- Develop individualized education plan (IEP) goals and document student progress
- Work closely with educators and staff to integrate therapy goals into students daily routines
- Communicate regularly with families, providing guidance and support
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain thorough records in accordance with school and state guidelines
