Qualifications & Experience
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Ohio
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric/school-based therapy
- Understanding of IDEA, IEP documentation, and school therapy best practices
- Collaborative approach to working with teachers, staff, and parents
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Effective and compassionate communicator
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct PT services for students as outlined in IEPs
- Assess student needs and develop customized treatment goals
- Consult with education teams regarding access, adaptive strategies, and equipment
- Document progress in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student plans
- Stay current with professional best practices for school-based PT
