Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Georgia Physical Therapist (PT) license required
- Demonstrated experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload and document student progress
- Collaborative mindset to work with educators, parents, and other service providers
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions to students in grades K-12
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine students physical therapy needs
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans in line with educational goals
- Document interventions, progress, and updates in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and consult with school staff and families regarding student needs
- Educate teachers and staff on adaptive equipment and classroom modifications to support student access and participation
- Provide ongoing support and advocacy for students physical therapy requirements
