We are seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to serve students across a district near Dearborn, MI, on a contract basis through the end of the school year. This flexible, itinerant role lets you work closely with students, educators, and families to deliver the care and specialized interventions that set children up for success.

Key qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Physical Therapist license (MI PT)
• Previous pediatric, healthcare, or school-based PT experience preferred
• Comfort with IEP systems and documenting services
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites (mileage reimbursement available)
• Fingerprinting, background check, and district credentialing required

What youll do:

• Provide physical therapy evaluations and treatments to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Collaborate with special education and general education staff, as well as families, to ensure optimal outcomes
• Manage a caseload spanning various age groups across the district, working an average of 48 hours per week
• Participate in IEP meetings, communicate progress, and support compliance with district and state procedures
• Maintain thorough records and contribute to IEP documentation using the districts digital system
