Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain license)
• Prior experience in school-based PT preferred, though all strong candidates will be considered
• Strong understanding of pediatric therapy and individualized educational programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, educators, and parents
• Proactive, flexible, and positive attitude to adapt to diverse student needs and school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to a caseload of students according to established IEPs
• Perform assessments and develop tailored therapy plans to promote student mobility, independence, and functional skills in the classroom
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and family members to align therapy goals with each student's unique educational needs
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, therapy sessions, and required evaluations
• Provide consultation and in-service training for staff regarding best practices in supporting students mobility and physical access within the school environment
