What were looking for:

• Prior experience working as a physical therapist in school settings
• Current and active Texas PT license
• Comfort serving students with a broad range of disabilities (K-12)
• Ability to work in an itinerant capacity, primarily covering the southern portion of the district
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility as caseloads and needs shift across the calendar year
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and school staff

What youll be doing:

• Delivering direct PT services to K-12 students per IEPs and educational plans
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized goals, and documenting progress
• Traveling between school sites as needed to serve students in different campus environments
• Actively participating in multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Adjusting and prioritizing your schedule during the transition from part-time summer services (Julyearly August) to full-time responsibilities during the school year
