Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy (required)
• Valid Louisiana physical therapist license
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric environment preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt approaches to suit a wide range of student needs and ages

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students requiring physical therapy services
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student goals
• Deliver therapeutic interventions and adapt activities for classroom participation
• Document services and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
• Contribute to IEP meetings and assist in developing student goals
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to enhance students motor development and safety
