Job Description
This opportunity is for a Physical Therapist to support students in a K-12 school setting located in Corona, CA. The assignment is a contract position for the current school year with a standard schedule of 37.5 hours per week, spread over 5 days. The caseload includes approximately 15 students requiring physical therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Physical Therapist licensure is required
- Experience providing physical therapy services in school and healthcare environments desired
- Ability to work effectively with K-12 aged children
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy assessments, treatments, and progress monitoring for students on caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with regulatory and district guidelines
- Participate in meetings and training opportunities as required
