Job Description
This position involves providing physical therapy services within a school setting, serving a caseload of approximately 15 students. The role requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, supporting students physical development and rehabilitation needs.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Valid California Physical Therapist licensure.
- Experience in school-based physical therapy preferred.
- Strong ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy programs.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to supporting pediatric populations in educational environments.
Location: Corona, CA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to each students physical therapy needs.
- Provide ongoing therapeutic interventions to promote mobility and functional independence.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with professional and district standards.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and other related service providers to support student progress.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
