An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Physical Therapist to work with K-12 students across multiple school sites under a contract assignment for the upcoming school year. This in-person role is perfect for a dedicated PT looking to make a difference in the lives of students.
Key Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Physical Therapy license required
- Prior experience providing PT services in a school setting preferred
- Comfortable working with a diverse K-12 student population
- Strong collaborative and communication skills for working with educators, students, and families
- Ability to travel to and provide services at several school sites during the week
- Commitment to an onsite-only position (no virtual/remote work)
Role Overview:
- Provide in-person physical therapy services for students from kindergarten through high school
- Collaborate closely with teachers, IEP teams, and other specialists to support student mobility, access, and functional needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
- Document student progress and comply with all district and state documentation requirements
- Contribute expertise to IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
- Fulfill a 37.5-hour work week during the academic year (late July 2026 through late May 2027)
